With all his kindness, energy and talent, Aki Kuroda offered me this painting to wish me a happy new year 2021. It is a pleasure for me to post it here and share it with you.
Our friendship goes back to... 1980! And it is in 1981 that the Maeght Gallery offers his first exhibition. He then joined the other artists of the Maeght Gallery including Peter Klasen enthusiastic about his work.
Aki Kuroda is presented until 2010 at the Maeght Gallery and produced many engravings, lithographs, prints and books with Maeght Editor. He also exhibits at the Maeght Foundation for which he produces various posters, for exhibitions but also for the concerts of the "Nuits de la Fondation Maeght".
I have the pleasure of accompanying him in the presentation of his work, whether it be to Museums, Galleries, Collectors and Institutions.
