It was like a journey. The exhibition "Thierry Lefort's California" (from December 23rd to January 7th), conceived by exhibition curator and Montrouge gallery owner, Yoyo Maeght, brought together nearly 150 paintings by the artist who lives and works between Saint-Ouen and Los Angeles.

Monumental works, more intimate formats, prints, some never before shown, unfolded the world of this singular artist. Thierry Lefort captures the soul of modern cities, the heat of the asphalt, the reflections of the Californian sky in a painting that is both abstract and figurative.
