Yoyo Maeght - Brégançon Castles Conference

Perched on the Var coastline, a stone's throw from Fort de Brégançon, the official residence of the Presidents of the Republic since 1968, Château de Brégançon is an exceptional estate. A former farm of the Marquisate of Brégançon, held by the Tézenas family since 1816, it extends over a protected site between land and sea, facing the Îles d'Or, and produces one of the most recognized classified growths of the Côtes de Provence appellation. It is in this rare setting, between history and preserved nature, that the evening of July 26th will take place.

On Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 6 PM, I invite you to an evening of free conversations about art, at Château de Brégançon.
An evening of discussions about art, its history, and my family's history. Because for me, talking about art also means telling the extraordinary adventure of my grandfather Aimé Maeght, who dedicated his life to bringing together the greatest artists of the 20th century. I grew up surrounded by artists and artworks, and that evening, I want to take you with me into that world.
This evening follows the opening of Stefan Szczesny's sculptures, whose works inhabit the estate's spaces. A major figure on the international art scene, Szczesny has been developing a sunny and assertive body of work for over forty years, imbued with the joy of life and the power of gesture. A natural dialogue is thus established between his sculptures and the conversation that will open that evening: two different, and complementary, ways of inhabiting and talking about art.
Come with your questions, your doubts, your curiosity. That's all you need.
This conference is held with the support of the Uningo Foundation, committed to promoting culture and artistic exchanges.
