Tiffany Bouelle - Biography

Tiffany Bouelle is a French-Japanese contemporary artist born in 1992 in France. Coming from a dual culture (Japanese through her mother and French through her father) she grew up in Paris in a creative environment that deeply influenced her artistic sensibility and worldview.

From a young age, she developed a strong interest in drawing, calligraphy, and artistic gesture, thanks in particular to the influence of her grandfather. She trained in applied arts in Paris, notably at the Duperré school, before navigating between several disciplines such as fashion, styling, and artistic creation.

Her artistic work is now multidisciplinary: it combines painting, drawing, performance and installation. At the heart of her approach is gesture , often repeated, which becomes a method of research and a way of exploring the body, time and memory.

Tiffany Bouelle's work is strongly inspired by her hybrid identity and aims to translate emotions, intimate narratives and human experiences, especially those of women. She has developed a practice of synesthetic portraits, transforming life stories into artistic forms and movements.

Committed and sensitive to social issues, she defends through her art a free and personal vision of femininity. Her works, both abstract and expressive, have been exhibited in several French institutions and contemporary art events, such as the Monnaie de Paris and the Asia Now fair.

Today, Tiffany Bouelle is emerging as a rising figure in the contemporary art scene, developing a practice where experimentation, the body and emotion play a central role.
